PROMISE OF SILENCE

A children music teacher Dasha has a tough secret. During her college years, she had to leave her daughter at the hospital. Now at 31, she desperately wants to become a mother, but can’t get pregnant and deal with a drinker husband she doesn’t love. When life gets unbearable, Dasha decides to leave him and look for her daughter, Masha, after 8 long years. 

She finds her adopted by Irina and Alexey and lies her way through becoming a governess at their house. Masha’s adoptive mother is terminally ill and Dasha confesses who she really is. On her deathbed, Irina asks her to be by Masha's side and never tell her the truth. Dasha swears to keep silent as the girl becomes the main purpose of her life. The situation changes drastically when Masha's biological father, a terrible man, suddenly appears. Their happy end is near but lies through numerous trials, challenges, and hardships.
