RUSSIAN CINEMA: DEALS IN EUROPE
In June, distribution company SOVELEEXPORT signed several contracts regarding the sale of two feature-length projects produced by Russia Television and Radio for the European television market.
• The Italian distribution company Camera Distribuzioni Internazionali acquired the rights for the subsequent broadcasting of the action thriller "Piranha" on the channel Cielo almost a decade after the film was released for distribution. This is testament to the fact that the feature film directed by Andrey Kavun remains in demand, with its gripping plot and brilliant acting still attracting viewers.
• The French publishing company Éditions Montparnasse acquired the DVD rights to the TV series "Fyodor Dostoevsky", which portrays the enigmatic, full of passions life of the great Russian writer.
