Valery Lunin, a successful clinical psychologist, now consults for a special investigative team on high-profile crimes. In Season 2, Lunin quits the homicide department but is pulled into a dangerous new partnership with the federal security service. He gets involved into a tense murder investigation — the victim is the husband of his former partner and close friend, Major Arina Solodovnikova.At the same time, his long-time enemy, the journalist Darya Drapova, ends up as Lunin’s patient after a severe psychotic break. Once she’s out from the mental hospital, her obsession with him turns dark and dangerous.But the biggest threat for Lunin is his own daughter, who’s just returned to Moscow.
She inherited the chilling ability to read minds from her father and is struggling to control it. Now, Lunin must help her tame these powers.
