The "Marshal Zhukov" documentary at the VII Aljazeera International Documentary Film Festival

The "Marshal Zhukov" documentary presented by the Russia Television Channel has successfully passed the preliminary screening, and will participate in the competition in the frameworks of the VII Aljazeera International Documentary Film Festival.
The Festival will be held under the patronage of His Excellency Sheikh Hamad bin Thamer al-Thani in April 21-24, 2011, in the city of Doha (Qatar).
In "Marshal Zhukov", they explore the biography of the famous Soviet commander of the Second World War debunking the myths developed around this outstanding personality. Written and directed by: Alexander Slavin.

Whilst participating on the Russian Cinema stand at SIFF Market, an international film market in Shanghai held between 14 and 16 June, Sovtelexport announced the sale of TV broadcasting rights to a large Chinese distributor of five World War Two documentaries. All the films will be shown by China’s largest state broadcaster, CCTV, in summer.
